How to Prepare

  1. Cut paneer into small cubes (1-inch size) for bite-sized pieces.
  2. Prepare the marinade by mixing cornflour, all-purpose flour, salt, pepper, and water to form a thick batter.
  3. Coat paneer cubes in the batter and deep fry or shallow fry until golden brown. Set aside on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  4. In a wok, heat 2 tablespoons of oil on medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Add diced bell peppers (red, green, yellow) and onions. Stir-fry on high heat for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
  6. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, and a pinch of sugar to make the sauce.
  7. Pour the sauce into the wok with the vegetables. Stir well to combine and cook for 1 minute.
  8. Add the fried paneer cubes to the wok. Toss everything together to coat the paneer with the sauce evenly.
  9. Garnish with chopped spring onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot on small plates or as appetizers with toothpicks.
