How to Prepare

  1. Cut paneer into bite-sized cubes if not pre-cut.
  2. In a mixing bowl, prepare a marinade with 2 tbsp soy sauce
  3. 1 tbsp chili sauce
  4. 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste, salt, and pepper. Add paneer cubes and coat well. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  5. Heat 4 tbsp oil in a wok or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Add marinated paneer cubes to the hot oil and shallow fry until golden brown on all sides. Remove and set aside on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  7. In the same wok, add 2 tbsp oil if needed. Add chopped garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute.
  8. Add sliced bell peppers, onions, and green chilies. Stir-fry on high heat for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
  9. Add 2 tbsp soy sauce
  10. 1 tbsp chili sauce
  11. 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  12. 1 tsp vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  13. Add the fried paneer cubes to the wok and toss everything together to coat the paneer with the sauce and vegetables. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  14. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot as a starter.
