How to Prepare
Cut the cauliflower into medium-sized florets and rinse thoroughly.
Prepare the batter by mixing 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour
5 cup of cornflour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper, and water to form a thick, smooth consistency.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan or wok over medium heat.
Dip the cauliflower florets into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated, and deep fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside on paper towels to drain excess oil.
In a separate wok, heat 4 tbsp oil over medium heat. Add 4 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp minced ginger, and 10 chopped green chilies. Sauté for 1-2 minutes.
Add 5 diced bell peppers (mixed colors) and 5 sliced onions. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
Add 10 tbsp soy sauce
5 tbsp chili sauce
5 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tsp vinegar
2 tsp sugar, and 2 tsp black pepper. Mix well to combine.
Add the fried cauliflower florets to the sauce mixture and toss to coat evenly. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot as a starter.
