How to Prepare
Cut the cauliflower into medium-sized florets and rinse thoroughly.
Prepare a batter by mixing 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour
5 cup of cornflour
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper, and water to form a thick consistency.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or wok over medium heat.
Dip the cauliflower florets into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated, and deep fry until golden brown. Remove and set aside on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
In a separate pan, heat 4 tbsp oil and sauté 4 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp minced ginger, and 5 chopped green chilies for 2 minutes.
Add 2 cups chopped spring onions
2 diced green bell peppers, and sauté for another 3-4 minutes.
Mix in 0.5 cup soy sauce
25 cup chili sauce
25 cup tomato ketchup
2 tbsp vinegar
2 tsp sugar, and 1 tsp black pepper. Stir well to combine.
Add the fried cauliflower florets to the sauce mixture and toss to coat evenly.
Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and serve hot as a starter.
