How to Prepare

  1. Cut paneer into small bite-sized cubes (about 1 inch).
  2. In a mixing bowl, prepare the marinade by combining curd, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, chaat masala, salt, and lemon juice.
  3. Add paneer cubes to the marinade, mix well, and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  4. In another bowl, prepare the batter by mixing maida, cornflour, salt, black pepper, and water to form a smooth, thick batter.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.
  6. Dip each marinated paneer cube into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
  7. Roll the battered paneer cubes in breadcrumbs for a crispy coating.
  8. Fry the paneer cubes in hot oil until golden brown and crispy (about 2-3 minutes per batch).
  9. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  10. Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.
