How to Prepare

  1. Prepare the dough by mixing 5 cups of whole wheat flour with water and a pinch of salt in a large bowl. Knead until soft and smooth. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix 2 cups of grated mozzarella cheese
  3. 1 cup of finely chopped bell peppers
  4. 1 cup of chopped onions
  5. 1 cup of chopped tomatoes
  6. 2 tsp of oregano
  7. 2 tsp of chili flakes, and salt to taste for the stuffing.
  8. Divide the dough into 20 equal portions and roll each portion into a small ball.
  9. Take one dough ball, flatten it slightly, and place 2-3 tablespoons of the stuffing mixture in the center.
  10. Fold the edges of the dough over the stuffing to seal it completely, ensuring no filling escapes.
  11. Roll out the stuffed dough ball gently into a flat circle (paratha) about 6-7 inches in diameter, using dry flour to prevent sticking.
  12. Heat a tawa over medium heat and place the rolled paratha on it.
  13. Cook for 1-2 minutes until small bubbles appear, then flip and apply 1 tsp of ghee or oil on the cooked side.
  14. Flip again after 1-2 minutes, apply ghee on the other side, and cook until golden brown spots appear on both sides.
  15. Repeat the process for the remaining dough balls and stuffing.
  16. Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or ketchup.
