Privacy Policy

1. Who this applies to

This policy covers corporate customers and their employees who use the SKF Customer Android app to view daily menus, place add-on or store orders, manage company meal plans (where applicable), browse catering events, and (for company administrators) view billing information.

2. Information we collect

Account and profile

• Name, company email address, mobile number, and password (stored and validated by our servers)
• Company association (matched from your email domain to your employer’s SKF corporate account)
• Role information (e.g. standard user or company administrator)

Orders and catering

• Meal selections, add-on orders, store cart items, delivery preferences, and order history
• Menu ratings and feedback you submit
• Corporate billing and invoice data visible to authorised company administrators

Payments

• Order amounts, payment status, and Razorpay transaction references
• Card or UPI details are processed directly by Razorpay; we do not store full payment instrument numbers on our servers

App usage analytics

• The Android app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand feature usage (e.g. screens viewed, sign-in events, checkout steps). This may include an app instance identifier and coarse device information. We do not send your password or full payment details to Firebase.

Device and technical data

• Device type, operating system version, app version, and network connectivity needed to deliver the service
• Local cache files on your device (menus, product catalog, bills) to improve performance offline
• Notification permissions if you enable add-on order reminders

3. How we use information

• Authenticate you and link your account to your company’s catering programme
• Process and fulfil food orders, add-ons, and store purchases
• Process payments through Razorpay and record transaction outcomes
• Provide menus, recipes, event information, and corporate billing to authorised users
• Send optional reminders about add-on ordering windows
• Improve app reliability and understand which features are used (Firebase Analytics)
• Respond to support requests and comply with applicable law

4. Legal basis (India)

We process personal data as needed to perform our contract with your employer and you (catering services), with your consent where required (e.g. optional notifications), and for legitimate interests such as fraud prevention, service improvement, and analytics.

5. Sharing with third parties

• Razorpay — payment processing (Razorpay Privacy Policy)
• Google Firebase / Google Analytics — app usage analytics (Google Privacy Policy)
• Google Cloud — hosting our APIs and encrypted corporate data storage
• Your employer — order, menu, and billing data relevant to your company’s account

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention

We retain account and order data for as long as your company maintains an active SKF corporate relationship and as required for accounting, tax, and legal obligations. Cached data on your device can be cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage.

7. Security

We use HTTPS for data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive corporate records on our servers, and industry-standard payment security through Razorpay. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; please use a strong password and keep your device secure.

8. Your choices and rights

• Update profile details through the app or by contacting us
• Disable notifications in Android system settings
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing us (subject to employer and legal constraints)
• Opt out of non-essential analytics by contacting us or limiting ad/analytics settings on your device where available

9. Children

The SKF Customer app is intended for corporate employees and is not directed at children under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
